Meet the Players Night

Practice Schedule 4:30pm weekdays

Now that school is in session, football practice will begin at 4:30pm each day.
The time from school dismissal until football practice is to be used wisely. Coach Coverley requested that you all register for a weight-lifting class during school. This will give you time to DO YOUR HOMEWORK before football practice. You can read in the library, study in the lecture hall, get personal subject help in a teacher's classroom.
FASTER, STRONGER, SMARTER!

Take Care of Yourself - Your Team Needs You

Like I said during practice, you are not required to come to lift after school, but I am going to lift from 3:30-4:00 most days, and anyone who would like to join me is more than welcome to come.
Please remember that during the season you should be eating right (carbs, proteins, grains, fruits and vegetables, etc.) drinking right (lots of water, juices, etc. but NO pop, energy drinks, and of course not the other kinds that you should never touch anyway!) and getting enough rest. (teenagers need on the average about 9-10 hours of sleep per night, athletes towards the top end of that) and you need to make sure you are doing your school work. We need you all healthy AND eligible to play.

Remember: We are what we repeatedly do. Perfection, then, is a habit, not an action.

Coach Lee

(YES, Wed. evening during our practice)

Passing Tournament is Saturday-need defense too!

Passing Tournament at Madison High School on Saturday - QBs & Receivers & Running Backs for offense, and Linebackers and Defensive Backs for defense. Many have been coming to evening throwing practices to learn the new plays for this year. If you haven't been coming, you've got two more throwing practices before the tournament to have a crash course on the new offense. Those who haven't been participating will be way behind. Remember, if you want what you haven't had before, you've got to DO what you haven't done before.
